About us
St. Dominic’s Technical and Agricultural Training Institute (TATI) is a private vocational college offering practical courses in technical and agricultural fields. Our programs are designed to equip trainees with hands-on skills that prepare them for employment or self-reliance in today’s competitive job market.
At TATI, opportunities are open to all learners regardless of their KCSE or KCPE results. Our Departments
We have seven major departments; each with a variety of courses to choose from.
ICT Department
The TATI department of ICT offers skills in ICT which gives learners the opportunity to do courses in the information technology and necessary skills to enable students compete preferably into the job market
Hospitality Department
In this department, students obtain skills in food and beverage production service in both domestic and industrial environments. Other than food and beverage knowledge.
Agriculture Department
This department offers knowledge and skills on agriculture and environmental conservation related issues. It also helps to nurture the potential and develop the creativity and innovativeness of the students or agriculture based.
Engineering Department
Trainees are equipped with skills like power and lighting installations, alarm and calling installations, electrical machine installations which will suit them in the industry
Building & Construction Department
The department offers marketable courses and our trainees become more competent to work in industries and also in private sectors. Courses include plumbing, welding & fabrication, masonry, carpentry and joinery.
Fashion Department
This department offers knowledge and skills of fashion and design which entails dressmaking and tailoring. Students are equipped with skills like men wear, ladies wear and other creative skills such as ladies hand bags, hats etc.
Cosmetology Department
Cosmetology is the study of both hairdressing and beauty Trainees are able to get both skills or may decide either as well as gaining experience on how to use all modern equipment.
